I really don't understand how someone can think that a test is able to measure one's intellect. If this were the case, I'd be a dumbass
My school spends more money on football and landscaping (aka, big ass rocks all over) than on improving our education. God forbid our rival school have better grass in their football field, so we had to go out and buy a fake turf

Guinea pigs: YUP. My class of '08 were put into same-sex classes in a public school first in middle school, then our records were tracked as we went back into mixed classes in High School. 7_7
Personal Info to Military: YUP. I had to sign my name TWICE on the "Do not Call" list to get them to back the fuck off. :<
One of the four is bad enough, being hit with three sucks balls, and I bet there are countless students who were hit with all four. NCLB IS BULLSHIT.

Oh, geez, I hate NCLB!! Their stupid "Qualified Teacher" laws caused my genius English teacher to get fired... because she couldn't pass a MATH test!! I miss her SOOO much you wouldn't even believe... thanks for making this stamp!!
omfg seriously... when I was in middle school, I rushed on my reading test a little because I wanted to get it done and draw really bad (lol) but stupidly enough, I failed my reading portion, and it landed me in a reading class in my freshmen year of highschool, and it was like being back in fucking kindergarten. GRGAAAAAAH Luckily before the 2nd semester was about to roll around, I urged my teacher that I take that reading test again, and I passed it with ease. ....frick, it was a huge waste of my time :/

I screwed up in Algebra in 8th grade (I wasn't supposed to be in it) so they decided I was universally retarded and put me in a freshman-level English class. God I hate the school system. So much.
It is a huge waste of time, isn't it? None of this is based on thought.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

just that they keep promoting kids that shoulda been left back? [[thats what im leaning towards atleast]]
also the fact that they give the name of every student and stuff to the miltary or something
that's pretty much all i know.

Losing someone is not a crime.
Forgetting they existed is a crime...
So we lower the standards and water down everything so the people that are behind can pass.

I mean, would you fire a restaurant bus boy for not being able to cook the meals too?
Logic seems to have taken a back seat in the schools...

Education is being sacraficed for image. Because schools need funding, and teachers need more pay....nobody gets it. T_T
